OG's personal synopsis
Maggie Grey is back at DCU and the school is not done with her. a murder has been committed and the investigation points straight at her bloodline. the First Family name carries weight in the Underground, the kind of weight that makes you a target. Namir is supposed to be watching her for reasons that are not entirely in her favor, and the tension that comes from that setup is exactly what you'd want from Book 2.
the world Granger built gets bigger here. the Underground, the politics inside DCU, the lore around the First Family. there's a lot happening and the suspense never really lets up. Namir and Bellamy are still the ones carrying my heart through this series.
Book 1 (The Secret World of Maggie Grey) is also available in the store. start there if you're new to DCU.
Maggie Grey and her friends made this book hard to put down. 517 pages felt like 22 pages and I was thoroughly entertained. Reading this book had me wanting to call a friend to tell her to pick this book up. Adding this series to the store was a no brainer.
