i started Literally Black because i wanted a book club that felt like the family i wanted to belong to. somewhere along the way this morphed into the book store i actually wanted to live in. somewhere warm, intentional, and Blackity Black. i'm the founder, the artist, the planner, the maker and the auntie of this whole operation.
because Black readers deserve a space that was built with them in mind.
not as an afterthought, a holiday, a challenge but as the whole point.
