Book Review: Lilith by Alexandria House

Last night, The Rich Aunties and I had an exclusive Author Session with the one and only Alexandria House, and let me tell you—she was a vibe! Alexandria was funny, sweet, and had us cracking up the entire time. We got the inside scoop on her favorite authors, book recs (shout out to Joan Vassar!), and even her upcoming projects. She also gave us the lowdown on her events called House Party, which sound like everything. Honestly, she was a joy to chat with, and I’m still smiling thinking about it.

But let’s get into the tea. Before our session, I had just started reading Lilith and was only 9% into the Kindle version. As soon as we got off the call, I dove right back into it, and by the next morning, I had devoured the whole thing. I was so hyped, I ran straight to TikTok to tell everyone to read this book ASAP.

Now, y’all know I’m a fan of Romance (recently learned I lovvveee Dark Romance especially) and books that are a little (or a lot) unhinged. Lilith did not disappoint. This book was spicy, unhinged, and downright crazy—in the best way possible.

Lilith Synopsis:

Lilith follows the story of a woman fresg out of a relationship that wasn't going anywhere. She's now on her own living above the plus sized Boutique that she owns. Everything goes haywire when one night she witnesses a murder that she wasn't supposed to see. Suddenly enters this mysterious, fine ass stranger who just won't leave her alone. His world is dark, and the story behind him is even darker. But that’s what makes it so compelling. You’re drawn into his story and what that means for her, and before you know it, you’re on a wild ride filled with drama, secrets, and more twists than a rollercoaster.

The chemistry between Lilith and this stranger is electric, and the tension? Whew, it’s thick enough to cut with a knife. This isn’t just a romance; it’s a dark, twisty tale that keeps you on the edge of your seat from start to finish.

My Thoughts:

I gave this book 5 stars, and honestly, if I could give it more, I would. It’s not a long read, but it packs a punch. The balance between drama, craziness, smut, and backstory is just right. Alexandria House knows how to write a story that keeps you hooked, and Lilith is no exception. It’s well-written, engaging, and just the right amount of wild.

If you’re looking for a book that’s going to take you on a crazy, spicy ride, Lilith is the one. Trust me, you won’t regret it. Next up on my list is continuing her Them Boys series—I’ve already read Set, and it’s another one that gets high marks from me.

So if you’re ready to dive into some unapologetic, intense romance, go grab Lilith. And don’t forget to let me know what you think—because I’m ready to talk about it! Catch me on Tiktok!
